Day 1 - Sarajevo
Start your three-day private tour in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a unique multicultural center. Learn about the legacies of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires, as well as communist Yugoslavia. Marvel at the cross-section of religions and listen to the simultaneous calls to prayer from different faiths. Explore the history of the most recent Balkan War in Sarajevo and learn about the four long years that the city and its people suffered under the constant threat of bombs. Visit the main locations from the 1990s Balkan War following the Siege of Sarajevo. See remnants of monuments preserved as reminders of the horrors of war. Hear the story of the Tunnel of Hope and get a better understanding of this memorial by watching a short documentary made during the war.

Day 2 - Mostar, Konjic & Blagaj
On day two, travel from Sarajevo to Konjic, Blagaj, and Mostar in Herzegovina, the southern part of the country, which is known for its sunny, warm weather and wine production. Admire the lavender fields and take in the smell of the seaside. Visit Konjic, a small town known for its wood carving, and take a Bosnian coffee break beside the beautiful Neretva River. Wander through the UNESCO-designated old town area of Mostar and see the famous bridge, an impressive example of Ottoman-era architecture. Stop by Blagaj, a scenic town bordering the Buna River known for its fish restaurants. Travel to a traditional Ottoman town dating back to the 16th century and admire its amazing architecture.

Day 3 - Travnik & Jajce
Day three is a trip from Sarajevo to Travnik and Jajce, the capital of the Bosnian kingdom during the 14th century. An important historic and tourist destination, Jajce is home to a famous waterfall where the Pliva River meets the Vrbas River. Visit the Royal Fortress, the Mlincici Complex, Pliva Springs, and the Catacomb Museum. On the road to Jajce, stop by the small well-preserved town of Travnik and see examples of Bosnian culture and lifestyle during the Ottoman period, including numerous mosques, houses, and fountains dating back hundreds of years.
