Can you imagine 4 years of siege? Four long years without elementary supplies, four years under the bombs, four years with no sun in the sky? Yes, we are live witnesses, a survivors of war horrors and we are here to share experience and tell the story about besieged Sarajevo!
Our war tour is the best example of the horrible things that Bosnia was going through from 1992-1995. You will have the closest experience to the latest war that affected Europe, and while you are driving through the whole Sarajevo, pay attention to the buildings because there are ”scars of war” everywhere. Bullet and shrapnel holes are still visible everywhere as a witness of death, blood and tears of the innocent.
Tour includes a visit to the Tunnel of hope, a Sarajevo museum and the most important building during the war. There you will learn more about its significance of salvation of Sarajevo. To make the tour more realistic you will be shown a 15 min. long documentary movie about the construction of the Tunnel and about the destruction of Sarajevo during the siege. You will have a chance to recognize many of Sarajevo buildings through the flames and destruction.
There are many points of interest on the tour where Sarajevo civilians were surviving, such as market place Markale, a place of two massacres, and places from where sniper nest were situated that terrorized Sarajevo citizens.
